70’s Stars: Where Are They Now?

The 70’s had a lot of things going for it. The rise of flower power? The emergence of video games? The chaotic political issues? Not to mention the growing popularity of bell-bottom jeans all happened in this time period. Well, the cultural bit is not the only part of the 70’s that’s worth reminiscing, we mustn’t forget the most famous celebrities of that time! It doesn’t matter if they were models or Hollywood stars, these celebrities are simply unforgettable.

Linda Ronstadt first gained popularity when she performed in Troubadour nightclub in West Hollywood. Her nickname, the “First Lady of Rock” may be more familiar to you. In the entirety of her career, she was able to win 10 Grammy Awards, more than 30 gold as well as platinum albums. Sadly, Parkinson’s disease ended her career in singing in 2012. In 2013, she wrote a personal biography about her experiences as a singer entitled Simple Dreams: A Musical Memoir.

Goldie Hawn

This star who first had her shot at fame in the comedy show Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-in is quite familiar to everyone. She then effortlessly got comedic roles in various movies such as Butterflies are Free and There’s my Girl in my Soup. She has cemented her mark in the movie industry with blockbusters such as Death Becomes Her, Overboard and The First Wives Club. Even though she took a break from the movie industry in the 2000’s, she made a comeback on screen in Snatched in 2017 with actress Amy Schumer. Oh, and she also gave her approval of the remake of her movie Overboard as said by Anna Faris who starred in said remake.
