Kim Basinger conquered not just the catwalk but also the movie screens in the 1970’s. Her breakthrough role was in the TV show Gemini Man. She then rose to fame taking more movie roles and TV shows after her success in the 1976 mini-series. Her most memorable role yet is in the movie L.A. Confidential where she played the role of Lynn Bracken. Today, her career in both the small and big screens is still flourishing. You may have seen her with Russell Crowe in The Nice Guys. However, it wasn’t until the 1970’s did she earn the star status as an actress. As if that is not amazing enough, she also directs, composes, writes and produces now. It was said that she and Gwyneth Paltrow will star in The Politician, a comedy show which is scheduled to be released on Netflix. And, yes, we forgot to mention that she has also sold multiple albums in her music career. No biggie.
