Steven Soderbergh’s 1989 film Sex, Lies and Videotape was Laura San Giacomo’s breakout role. Laura got a Golden Globe nomination and the ‘Los Angeles Film Critics Association- New Generation Award’ for her role. The film received the Grand Prize at the Cannes Film Festival: the Palme d’Or. Laura’s most well-known role was as Kit De Luca in Pretty Woman where she acted alongside Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.
