Initially Mikey, the other son of Paul Sr., was hired to do odd jobs around the shop – like take out the trash, sweep floors, and answer phones. However he quickly became a fan favorite so they upped his camera time. Additionally Mikey played the mediator for his father and brother which eventually became too much so he left the crew.

Cody Connelly was the shop hand but more than that, he was practically family. Everyone even built him a secret motorcycle, that’s how much he was admired. However serious problems arose when the family actually chose NOT to give him the secret bike they built. Therefore Connelly left the show and sued the Teutuls for 250K! Although in the end they settled the matter out of court.
