Scream
The special effects team had their work cut out for them in Scream. And with so many bloody scenes, we had a moment of pure gold. Skeet Ulrich lost control with the blood-covered phone and winged it at Matthew Lillard’s head. And this wasn’t scripted at all! Lillard naturally reacted with genuine indignation, yelling, “You hit me with the phone, d**k!” And as it wasn’t out of character for him to yell so, they kept it in the film.

When filming that epic final fight in Mission: Impossible 2, Tom Cruise and the stunt team trained incredibly hard in order to make their moves as realistic as possible. That includes swinging a knife which stops just millimeters from his eyeball. However when the stuntman told Cruise not to pull back during the final kick of the sequence, he didn’t. Instead he planted his foot squarely onto his partner’s jaw. Director John Woo ended up using the entire shot, including Cruises shocked reaction.
