Diane Lane
Having been born from a father who was a drama coach and a mother who was a model, it was quite natural for Diane Lane to become an actress. The theater was her source of comfort and joy in her turbulent childhood. Then, in 1979, she made her debut on-screen in A Little Romance. She was unstoppable in the 1980’s. Obviously, her movies like Rumble Fish and The Outsiders the most popular. Even now, she is still active in numerous productions. She plays alongside Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway in Serenity as Karen.
Jennifer Jason Leigh
As a teenager in the 1970’s, she started getting small roles in various shows and movies. Her role as Stacy in Fast Times at Ridgemont High in 1982 launched her star status in Hollywood. She then transitioned to doing more mature movies like Last Exit to Brooklyn and Miami Blues. She continues acting to this day with parts in Twin Peaks and Atypical.
