He did not actually make plans for the interior of the jetliner but it all came to him the moment he moved in to the Boeing 727. In an interview with Business Insider, he explained his vision: “Next time you’re in a jetliner, close your eyes for a moment and remove all the seats, all the other people from your mind. Then open your eyes with that vision and consider the expanse of the living room. It’s a good environment; it really is.”
