Barbara Parkins is a Canadian-American actress who moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the business when she was only 16 years old. She started out as a backup singer and dancer to major stars at various nightclubs. She made her debut in the 1961 low-budget crime flick 20,000 Eyes. A bigger project she took on was the film adaptation of Valley of the Dolls. She was later nominated for Best Actress in a Lead Role at the Emmys for her television work.

Julie Ege

Julie Ege started working as a model at the young age of 15 and when she was 18 years old, she placed second in the Miss Norway pageant. She ended up joining the Miss Universe pageant before relocating to England and working as an au pair in order to improve her skills in speaking English. By the end of the ‘60s, she was already acting in small roles. Her most popular role has to be for the comedy flick Up Pompeii in 1971. She was labeled a glamour actress, but she admitted that it did not bother her since it paid the bills.
