She later made it to the big screen after starring in both comedic and dramatic acting roles and becoming a promising newcomer in the industry. She tied the knot with her The Fearless Vampire Killers co-star Roman Polanski in 1968 and was eight months pregnant when she was murdered. Unfortunately, Sharon Tate is usually associated with the senseless, disturbing, and tragic murders committed by the Manson family back in 1969.

Ingrid Bergman

Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman became a household name when she starred in the classic film Casablanca opposite Humphrey Bogart. Did you know she had already been appearing in Swedish and German films since the ‘30s? She had an incredibly wide international appeal and a biographer has described her as “arguably the most international star in the history of entertainment.” One of the directors that Ingrid Bergman worked with was Anatole Litvak, who said this about the celebrity: “Through all her troubles she held to the conviction that she had been true to herself and it made her quite a person.” The star died due to breast cancer in 1982.
