Little Elizabeth
This lovely family photo shows a baby Elizabeth with her parents, George VI and Queen Elizabeth. When she was born, her grandfather King George V was the reigning monarch of the kingdom. As a young girl, Elizabeth must have not considered she would also end up on the throne. She grew up in a rather normal environment as her parents did not lead an exceptionally lavish lifestyle. Apparently, the family cleaned their own dishes and made their own meals every now and then. Elizabeth’s father died in 1952 while her mother passed away in 2002.
