After the success of Titanic, it was time for another tour. Celine was just beginning her “Let’s Talk About Love Tour” when she got some dreadful news. Renee had cancer. Celine actually got the news while she was performing, and then sang a song in his honor. Rene tried to battle cancer, but it took his life on January 14, 2016, when he was only 73 years old.
