If you just know Anne Francine as the actress who played the role of Fran in Crocodile Dundee, then you’re sadly ill-informed. This talented lady was a talented cabaret singer. Many people celebrated her for playing the part of the villain Flora Simpson Reilly on the TV show Harper Valley PTA. In addition, she played the Evil Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’s musical adaption in 1979. Unfortunately, her final acting role was in Crocodile Dundee. She passed away in 1999.

Actually, Metzman was born Douglas Kahn. However, he changed his name in order to match the name of his character in the second play that he did. He had initially planned to change names each role but he didn’t follow through. Anyway, he is known for playing roles in The Purple Rose of Cairo, WarGames and needless to say, Crocodile Dundee as the doorman Irving. In addition, Irving Metzman is a published playwright!
