Corn Song
Before Dolly could even write, her mother was already helping her write her own songs. At such a young age, the lyrics were simply spilling out of little Dolly. Her first song was called “Little Tiny Tasseltop.” Here is an excerpt from her earliest work: “Little tiny tasseltop, I love you an awful lot. Corn silk hair and big brown eyes, How you make me smile.”
