But did you know that the song wasn’t finished by the time the final dance scene was filmed? The budget was too tight. Therefore a demo version by “Frankie and The Knockouts” was used instead. Patrick Swayze said that he actually preferred this version then the final version, which was sung by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes.
