WAGS, which follows the lives and dramas of sports stars’ wives, quickly became one of E!’s most popular shows. To keep the show interesting for viewers, the producers created drama between the women, and the show was heavily reliant on fake scenarios. The women’s conversations and rivalry were all made up, despite the fact that the marriage breakdowns were real. To add some variety, women who weren’t dating athletes were also included in the mix.
