It is still pretty wild to think of the fact that Motown did not snap up Freda Payne. She is the amazing singer behind songs like “Band of Gold” and “The Unhooked Generation.” The truth is that she is not the only musician in the family. Scherrie, her younger sister, was actually a member of The Supremes. Apart from her musical career, she has tried acting in the past as well. Perhaps you even saw her in Ella: First Lady of Song and Nutty Professor II: The Klumps. She continues to perform.
