Grace Barnett Wing
Grace Slick, Grace Barnett Wing was a key figure in the psychedelic music scene of San Francisco back in the ‘60s. Now retired, she had an amazing music career that went on for four decades. She used to perform with groups like The Great Society, Jefferson Starship, and Jefferson Airplane. The talented woman also wrote songs such as “White Rabbit,” “Somebody to Love,” “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” and “We Built This City.” Her other nicknames include “The Chrome Nun” and “Gracie.”
