Not Practical
After receiving tons of questions as to why she decided to remove the rings from her neck permanently, the metaphorical explanation she said simply that she could not stand being isolated anymore, she had a hard time functioning while wearing the rings – she could not simply go out alone without being interrupted by a citizen or a press. To summarize everything up, having the neck rings were not practical anymore.
