Even before Mirai Nagasu competed in figure skating in the 2018 Winter Olympics, she was already quite a star. However, the games made her a true celebrity. During the Pyeongchang Games, she became the first American female skater to do a triple axel at the Olympic games. This young skater and her teammates also brought home a bronze medal.
