The average American woman is about five and a half inches shorter than the average American man. That is not such a bad gap at all, in fact, it’s pretty darn normal. Some research studies have even reported that most women prefer taller then, and if the woman is taller than the average, she wants a taller man as well. We guess it’s all about proportion. It also makes sense that women who are shorter than the average tend to wear heels more often to appear closer in height to their partner. And this is especially common when it comes to relationships in Hollywood.
