Jack’s turn
Mark stood in front of everyone, anticipating Jack and Lucy’s entrance down the aisle. It was Jack’s turn first. As he stood next to Mark, he walked confidently and shook his hand.
The bridesmaids, three of Lucy’s best pals, arrived after Jack. As they stood close to Mark, they whispered to each other, making him feel self-conscious.
