Sheila has spent the majority of her life in Texas prisons. Since she was a cub, she has been a working lioness. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a cub model. Sheila was a wild animal whose health and welfare were jeopardized when forced to live a labor-intensive domestic life.

Sheila was unable to stand on her own due to her inability to coordinate her movement patterns. Her rescuers were aware of her weakened muscles, which made walking difficult. She couldn’t even lift her head to drink or eat water due to her inability to do so. Her appetite had completely vanished, and she had lost all desire to live.
