James K. Polk
Known as the 11th President of the United States, James K. Polk was the first to resign after serving only one term in office and without running for re-election. John Chapman, commonly known as Johnny Appleseed, was a pioneering nurseryman who lived in the early 1800s. He traveled around the United States, introducing apple trees to numerous towns, including those in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, West Virginia, and even in Ontario, Canada. He was a pioneer in the introduction of apple trees to the United States. Johnny Appleseed was a good man and a pioneer in environmental protection who became somewhat of a legend in his own time.
