Just Another Day
It was an ordinary day, just like any other. Cynthia was working at the store, it was around the afternoon when Crystal came by to see her mom and buy a carton of milk before going back home. This happened quite often so nothing was bizarre. As Crystal left the store her mother turned to her and said “Stay around the house today”, and Crystal said she would just that. Her mother had no idea that that was in fact the very last time she would actually see her 14-year-old daughter.
