It just so happened that Crystal became so close to the people in the community that she would actually refer to them as “grandma” and “cousin”. Although she had left her biological family behind, she had now found a new one. Regardless of this being the situation, she was still evidently struggling with her past and was not able to put it behind her.

As the years went on Crystal happily lived her new life. She had a beautiful family of her own which included four children. She also took it upon herself to learn Spanish fluently. Despite being happy with how things were at the moment, she couldn’t help but feel the need to want to look up her biological family on Facebook. But why did it take so long for her to get in contact with them?
