Beyoncé
Did you know that Beyoncé Knowles had a humble beginning? It’s true – her mother worked as a hairdresser while her father worked as Xerox sales manager in Texas. They discovered how talented she was early on and she went to performing arts schools to hone her skills. She and her childhood friends later formed Girl’s Tyme and this later morphed into Destiny’s Child. They later signed with Columbia and earned popularity with “No, No, No”. After the girl group disbanded, Bey decided to go solo. Listen to “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”, “Crazy in Love”, and Lemonade if you are not convinced that this was a great choice.
