If you don’t know that is, it means he is an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award winner! He was already passionate about music even when he was a young boy. At the age of 15, he set music to a book called Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats. Yup, this was the beginning of the hit musical Cats! Webber pursued his passion in musical theater when he studied at the Royal College of Music. He was just a teenager when he started working with Tim Rice, who ended up becoming his longtime collaborator. Together, they went on to make some of the best-loved musicals the world has ever seen.
