The Body “Issue”
Her experience of shooting for the “Body Issue” was empowering; nonetheless, she did not have complete control over the circumstances surrounding the shoot. While she was posing for the magazine, her primary concern was that the publication might publish naked photographs. When she was on set, she was as cautious as she could possibly be, but suddenly her fears came true. During the time that Rousey was getting her photographs done, a cameraman from ESPN was working behind the scenes to capture footage for the ESPN YouTube channel. It found out that the video showed her naked for a brief period of time during the entire clip. She was so incensed that she demanded that ESPN immediately erase the footage, which they complied with.
