Since Bobbi went into labor early, the news crews that were waiting to cover her story were caught off guard. They flocked to the Iowa Methodist Hospital Center in Des Moines to get first coverage of the septuplets. Unfortunately for them, it would take a little longer than they thought for them to get a story.

It took three months and 10 days for all the babies to be healthy enough to go home. It was a day full of smiles and tears as Bobbi and Kenny packed their babies into the van to head home. Cameras and journalists surrounded them as they made their way out of the hospital. Everyone wanted to see the babies.
