Adopting Pax
Angelina Jolie knew that going through the process of adopting a child had never been easy. As her past experiences taught her, these challenges were her reason to love and to pursue the child she wanted even more. Adopting the three-year-old Vietnamese orphaned Pax Thien made her adopt the child as a single parent despite being in a supportive relationship with Brad Pitt in 2007. The reason behind this was a Vietnam law that forbids a non-married couple to adopt a child in their country.
