Jolie named her children after some meaningful terms and phrases. Back in 2002 when filming her famous movie Lara Croft, she met a six-month-old orphaned named Rath Vibol in a Cambodian orphanage and decided to adopt the child and become her first child. Jolie later changed his name to Maddox Chivan which is derived from a Welsh word “mad” meaning “fortunate.” Three years after Jolie welcomed Maddox in her life, she decided to adopt her second child whom she met in an Ethiopian orphanage back in 2005. She named the baby Zahara Marley which means “shining flower”. The Jolie-Pitt’s most famous child was their first-ever biological daughter Shiloh Nouvel. The parents named their first offspring “Shiloh” which means “Messiah”. The Jolie-Pitt family continues to grow as Jolie continues to adopt another child from Vietnam which she named Pax Thien, meaning “peaceful sky”. The couple had twins which they named Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline who’s second names are from their grandmother and a great grandfather.
