The Bee Gees were made up of three brothers: Robin, Barry, and Maurice Gibb. In the ’60s and’ 70s, they reached the height of their profession. Among disco fans, they were a hit. They liked changing their sound regularly. The trio was born on the Isle of Man, and they spent their youth in Manchester. The Rattlesnakes were launched but changed their name to the Bee Gees. Robert Stigwood joined them in 1967 and promoted them throughout the globe. Since then, they have sold over 220 million copies.
Ray Davies – $12 million
This English musician served as The Kinks’ guitarist and songwriter. Ray Davies is considered to be the Britpop godfather! In 1964, the band bagged a recording contract. Many years have been spent in the limelight. Just so you know, he was the man who wrote “You Really Got Me,” which is largely regarded as a breakthrough hit for them. Through his success, he led the band and was not scared to experiment with their sound. In the late ’90s, when the Kinks broke up, he decided instead to launch a solo career.
