Tony Hawk is the most popular American Professional skateboarder to date. When he was only 14 years old, he turned pro, becoming the National Skateboard Association world champion 12 years in a row. He has won gold 10 times, silver 3 times, and bronze twice at the X Games. In 1999, Hawk became legendary when he successfully landed and created the 900, about two and a half turns in mid-air. After this accomplishment, Tony retired that very same year.
