We’ve just talked about Mr. Rico, so it wouldn’t be fair if we didn’t also talk about Mrs. Rico! Starship Troopers, like him, had a minor role. When their son decides to leave home, she gets into a fight with him. Her approach, on the other hand, is gentler than Mr. Rico’s. She tries her hardest to persuade their son to stay, but the way she talks about Carmen offends him. Despite this, it is clear that she genuinely loves him.
