In 1983, the Carpenter siblings received their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The solo album Karen created while Richard was away also received a release date 13 years after she passed away. She might no longer be here, but her legacy will forever remain. Her music has immortalized Karen Carpenter and the artist continues to inspire people with her works.

His Own Solo
After his sister passed away, Richard Carpenter put it upon himself to put together several compilations of the music they created. In 1987, he released a solo album called “Time” that included songs by Dionne Warwick and Dusty Springfield. He, of course, dedicated it to Karen.
