In 1978, Tiger Woods made his first television appearance. I suppose we should mention that he was just two when he appeared on the television show! What an amazing accomplishment. He appeared on The Mike Douglas Show and putted against the comedian Bob Hope.

By the time Tiger was three years old, he shot a 48 over nine holes over the Cypress Navy course. At age five, he even appeared in Golf Digest and on ABC’s “That’s Incredible”. Things were looking beyond incredible for the young star. No one could fully grasp just how amazing of a golfer Tiger Woods would grow up to become.
