In 2010, Tom Selleck starred alongside Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher in the film Killers. While casting, Kutcher knew he wanted an intimidating actor to play Mr. Kornfeldt. Kutcher explained, “I call Mr. Kornfeldt ‘Sir’ in the script a lot,” he said. “And I was thinking, ‘Who am I going to call Sir?’ Who’s a bigger guy, who’s got an intimidating thing, but doesn’t have to try to be intimidating?” Yup, the one and only Tom Selleck.

We all need a break, don’t we? Selleck was so stuck in his work in Magnum, that he hardly could find time for his family and daughter. Work life stressed him out and he needed a break. He felt personal life is crucial more than his work as an actor. You have to admire his dedication to his family, not many people would take a break from one of the biggest roles of their life.
