Although we all really wished that Tom Selleck would return to his famous role in Magnum PI when the new series started, we were all pretty upset. Selleck explained to TV Guide Magazine what he said when he was approached about the show. “Absolutely not. I’m busy with Blue Bloods.” He continued, “It will never be what in my fantasy world, I would make it to be.”

Looks like the second time was a charm! Selleck and Jillie Mack married a year before Magnum P.I. aired its final season and they’ve been together ever since. They have a daughter together named Hannah, and the family lives in California.
