Now here’s an interesting tidbit. Selleck was offered a role of Mitch Buchannon in the 90’s TV show Baywatch but he turned it down. As you know that role went to David Hasselhoff. But why did Selleck turn it down? Do you know? Because he did not want to be recognized as a sex symbol! I mean, fair enough.

Dr. Richard Burke
This is really an impressive fact, and perhaps my favorite too. He appeared in one of the most watched shows, Friends, as Dr. Richard Burke, a divorced ophthalmologist who dates Monica Geller, played by Courtney Cox. Plus, he got nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series. Phew, he is such a star!
