Attention Disney fans! We’ve waited and hoped and now it’s finally here! The first pictures from Disney’s new live action re-imaging of the classic and adorable animated film, Beauty and the Beast, have officially arrived. The pictures are just as magical and wonderful as we could have hoped. While there are only a handful of pictures of Belle, the Beast, Gatson and so forth – we are carefully examining each and every one while our hearts burst with joy.
Months ago, we got a mere glimpse of Emma Watson, and her portrayal of Belle
While this image alone is powerful enough to make me want to dance a jig, I just wasn’t satisfied, I needed more!
At the same time, we got a glimpse at the Beast, portrayed by Dan Stevens
Just a small, mere snippet when our hearts were craving more! All-be-it, looks like the makeup crew did amazing work.
More mere glimpses were published
We saw Lumière, portrayed by Ewan McGregor, and Cogsworth, portrayed by the brilliant Sir Ian McKellen, in all their beauty – which was delightful! (My favorite characters, BTW.)
We even got to see the back of Gatson!
Which was so disappointing but we did get to see LeFou, portrayed by Josh Gad, in his jolly form.
Drum-roll, please! We now have our first look into all our beloved characters
The wait is over. Just look at Belle and the Beast in their most iconic costumes from the beloved animated film. Thank you Entertainment Weekly for this amazing sneak peek. My heart is overcome with joy!
Gatson!! And not just the back of him
Our first, frontal look at Gatson, portrayed by Luke Evans. Hubba-hubba. (Even if he is a villain, he sure is a gorgeous one.)
Another Gatson photo?!?
Doesn’t he just look like he’s up to no good? Brilliant! What a spot on character portrayal.
Crazy, old man Maurice AND Belle
Kevin Kline looks dashingly wacky and we get to see more of Belle! Doesn’t she just look sweet and perfect?
Look! Look! It’s dear old Mrs. Potts! And Plumette!
I’m practically jumping out of my chair! Come on, you know you are too.
More of Belle and the Beast – in the library no less
One of my favorite spots of the movie is totally the library, yes I am a huge book-nerd, but the library is gigantic and cozy! Who wouldn’t want to spend time in there? It sure beats any bookstore I’ve ever been to.
Belle and the West Wing, simple but effective
Not the happiest of photos but we’ll take it. The place could use an interior designer but hey, probably not so many interior design schools available at the time.
Eek! Belle in all her golden glory
Emma Watson looks breath taking here, the costume crew did an amazing job getting the gold gown just right.
More Belle!
She just fits right in, and in the library of course, I mean it is Belle’s sanctuary. All of these photos are just getting me more and more excited for March 17, 2017! But for now, I will stick to the Beauty and the Beast trailer on repeat, it’s almost as good as the real thing. Almost.
