This popular English, pop group was formed in 1994, however, when the gals first got together they were not called Spice Girls. Instead, they were called Touch, but due to the change in management the group’s name was changed. Apparently, their new name was chosen from a song that was written for them called “Sugar and Spice.”

In May 2006, Geri Halliwell gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Bluebell Madonna.
