One user piped up and spoke of her experience when she questioned the diagnosis of her grandchild. She reported that albinism is often underdiagnosed. And in her own case, her grandchild was wrongly diagnosed, it wasn’t until her grandchild turned two that an eye doctor confirmed that he was suffering from yellow albinism. At 12, he is now legally blind.
