It was impossible to care for all the babies alone. Usually the family had about seventy volunteers helping them every day with various tasks. This meant that there were about eight or nine volunteers changing diapers, feeding and making sure the septuplets were being cared for on a daily basis.

Everyone Wants To Help

Since there were so many babies and so much attention that was needed, everyone wanted to help out. The construction workers who were building the McCaughey’s house, were lucky enough to get a chance at holding the babies themselves. This heartwarming photograph is one of Bobbi’s and Kenny’s favorite.
