One of the outcomes of premature births sometimes, is that some babies aren’t entirely healthy. Two of the babies were born with cerebral palsy – Alexis and Nathan. This condition has a negative effect on a person’s co-ordination and movement, which in the children’s case meant they would have trouble walking.

Taking Steps

Due to their cerebral palsy, Nathan and Alexis were confined to using walkers in order to move around. Nathan felt that he could teach himself how to walk and every day he pushed himself just a little towards his walking goal. “I taught myself how to walk because I really wanted to learn. It’s just been getting better and better.”
