2. A Jellyfish’s Mouth & Behind Are The Same.

So a jellyfish’s mouth and a jellyfish’s behind, yea they’re the same thing. As gross as this is (which it kind of is), because anemone and sea sponges have one hole that they eat and excrete through it’s also quite efficient. Talk about killing two birds with one stone!

6. A Parasite Destroys A Fish’s Tongue And Then Replaces It With Its Own Body.

The “cymothoa exigua” parasite basically molds itself into a living, parasitic, but completely-functioning (harmless) tongue. Borderline cannibalistic?

7. More Than 1,600 People Have Gone Missing In U.S National Parks.

Unfortunately this is in fact true. As difficult as hiking/trekking through a National Park is, when trying to locate people who have been reported missing is even more difficult, frustrating, and exhausting. After 9/11 the U.S Government placed an analysis and reporting systems throughout various parks, but sadly it wasn’t effective enough.

8. 400 People Involuntarily Danced For Days Until Their Deaths.

In 1518 in Strasbourg, France a dance epidemic broke out for no apparent reason. It started with one woman and within just one month, about 400 other people joined her. However many people suffered from heart attacks, exhaustion, strokes, or even death.

We apologize for this one in advance. But on a not-so light note, Dennis Rader aka the BTK Killer (bind, torture, kill) is a famous serial killer from the ’70’s – ’90’s. He would occasionally “hang out” in his victim’s houses, specifically in their closets, and wait until he felt they were most vulnerable.
