Ellen Burstyn was considered a true star in the 1970’s. She was nominated in the Oscar’s for her role in The Last Picture Show and then later on for her performance in The Exorcist. She eventually won in the Academy Awards for her role as Alice in the Martin Scorsese’s Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore. Her other notable performances were in Resurrection and Requiem for a Dream. Now, she still continues to act and you may see her film The Tale on HBO. It was released in 2018 and she starred this film with Laura Dern.
