She is best known as part of the famous quartet, ABBA. The A in her name is what the “A” in ABBA stands for. How cool is that? Their songs Take a Chance on Me and Dancing Queen are one of the greatest hits in the music industry. Unfortunately, ABBA disbanded in the 80’s. However, they surprised their fans by reuniting and releasing new songs in 2018, a first in more than 35 years! Also, Faltskog briefly ventured out on her own as a singer and authored an autobiography in 2016.

Musician Carly Simon launched her first album in 1971. In the said album, the chart topper “That’s the Way I’ve Always Heard it Should Be” was included. She released her next album shortly after the first one. However, the hit song “You’re So Vain”, was what really made her famous. She is still active in her music career and has even performed with singers like Taylor Swift in her Red tour. She wrote about her life in her memoir which was published in 2015. This included stories from her childhood to her former relationships like ex-husband, James Taylor (musician).
