She debuted in a Woody Allen’s movie Annie Hall. Even though her role in the said movie was small, it still launched her acting career. She starred in Alien as the lead actress and went on to reprise the role in the succeeding installments of the movie. After that, she has acted in the movies: Ghostbusters and Avatar. She also played some roles in Broadway shows which eventually got her a Tony. She is still active in her acting career and has other Avatar movies in production.
