A Mother’s Dilemma
Once she finished the call, Claudia immediately listed her choices. However, none of the options she came up with seemed to be particularly attractive. It was a choice between missing out on an important career opportunity or stay home and take care of her daughter. Claudia had already taken her maternity leave in the months previously as well as a couple of sick days to take care of Ava. She knew that she had to go to the meeting.
