Claudia thought the drive on the way to work was extremely long. She immediately checked her phone for messages once she reached the parking lot. Her notifications were loading slow and she held her breath while waiting. Did J’Ann run into a problem? Her notifications appeared at last and she saw that her niece had sent a picture.

From the thumbnail of the photo, Claudia could see her daughter. Her mind instantly thought something bad must have happened. It was a small preview so she couldn’t identify what was actually in the photo. Her worries were made worse by the full photo that was taking forever to load. Claudia was growing restless and upset. She was already having second thoughts about getting a teenager to watch over her daughter.
